• Q: Wait, this isn't 5 Points AA anymore?    A: Yes, but not exclusively. JAFI and each of the individual AA, CA, HA, DAA etc. groups are all separate organizations. We're friendly with our friends! See our Who We Are page for the details.

• Q: What about those who suffer from grave emotional and mental disorders?                       A: Many of them do recover if they have the capacity to be honest!

• Q: Are these extravagant promises?                       A: We think not!

• Q: What’s the point?  A: The point is that we are willing to grow along spiritual lines.

Want to join the team at JAFI? 

The Jefferson Alcoholic Foundation, Inc. is looking for individuals that are interested in working on a part-time basis to help maintain the clean and safe environment where 12-step meetings are held and where members of the recovery community can socialize and gather.

Duties to include:

• Serve coffee and other beverages.
• Inform patrons and visitors about JAFI and encouraging membership.
• Collect payments for membership dues and donations.
• Enforce posted JAFI House rules.
• Cleaning of the facility
• Shifts are 10:00am – 7:30pm on the days scheduled.

Requirements:

1. One year of continuous sobriety and remaining sober for the duration of employment. 
2. Attentive customer service. 
3. Positive attitude. 
4. Clean and neat appearance.

Note: JAFI may occasionally require random drug testing. All employees must be willing to participate if asked.
